To register a Stripe account, do the following:

1. Click on Account Manager on the top-right of the page on the website
2. Select Account Settings on the left-hand side and then click on Getting Paid tab
3. Click on Set Up button next to Create Stripe Profile, after which you will be redirected to a Stripe registration page
4. After this, fill in your email address and phone number and click Next. Following this, you will receive a 6-digit verification number that you will need to enter on the screen.
5. In the next step, you will be presented with you Stripe emergency backup code. Download it or write it down somewhere safe. If your device is ever lost or stolen, you can use this code to unlock your Stripe account.
6. Enter your home address and select the type of business as Individual/Sole Trader. This section asks for your business address but please just use your home address.
7. After this, enter your email address (if not already inserted automatically) and your date of birth.
8. Following this you will be asked to provide your VAT number (as you can see this is optional and as a pre-loved seller, this is not needed ), type in the product description section 'pre-loved items'.
9. Enter your payout details. Please select your currency, country of bank account and enter your sort code and bank account number.
10. In the next step, you will be asked to enter statement information, shortened descriptor and an account support number.
11. Next, review your details that you have provided, if they are correct, press the Submit button.
12. You will then be redirected back to the Icephorm Getting Paid page, where you will see the following message. “Confirmation. Thank you for setting up your Stripe account. You will need to complete your registration on Stripe by verifying your email address as well as your ID details by singing into your Stripe account.”
13. Go to your email and Verify your email to start using Stripe.
14. Sign into your Stripe account where you will be asked to provide some additional verification information. Please select how you want to verify your ID (take a picture with your phone/take a picture with your webcam/ upload a file)
15. Following this, select how you want to provide the proof of address from the given list.
16. Once you have done this, click on the Done button. Your Stripe account is now set up.
